An anonymous writer once said "Until you have a kid with special needs you have no idea of the depth of your strength.tenacity and resourcefulness " Having been tested and proven of our values mentioned above.ERIS as an educational institution in support to the implementation of RA 7277 (Magna Carta for Disabled Persons) had provided access to basic education among LEARNERS with Special Educational Needs.They are being catered. In Sped elementary we offer kinder to grade 6 for Deaf class with certified sign language interpreters and Sped trained teachers as their teachers for the self contained classes, pre vocational class ages 15-22, Functional Academics class ages 9- 14, Early Intervention class ages 5-8 to cater children with autism, celebral palsy, Down Syndrome, Learning disability, ADHD, Global Developmental Delays and Speech Delays. For placement , SOME learners with special educational needs are formally diagnosed by the developmental pediatricians and other SPEd learners had their educational assessment/psychoeducational assessments from other professionals it follows and supported by an individual educational program (IEP)for their unique phase of learning style and the other LSEN for Deped BUT modified curriculum while in HS DEPT we also catered DEAF LEARNERS in self-contained program. WHILE Inclusion set up in the SHS dept with the Sign Language Interpreters. Both elementary and Secondary levels had also inclusion program for the students who are ready to merge or to be mainstreamed in the regular school environment to ensure that the education of LSEN is being accessed as integral part of our system.

In consonance with the Basic Education Curriculum, ERIS continues to offer pre-elementary education which caters children age 5 years old at the time of enrolment period. It has currently 5 sections with a maximum of 30 pupils per sections. Preschoolers are given the chance to participate in the different extra curricular activities which also enhance their potentials and at the same time shape their character.

With many fruitful years in shaping the minds and hearts of the pupils, the elementary department of ERIS maintains a high-valued reputation in the field of pedagogy. Since its establishment in 1939 as one of the oldest elementary schools in Mandaluyong, ERES as it is formerly known has transcribe a remarkable history in various academic endevours.

In its 9th year as an integrated school, ERIS junior high school has also been starting to flourish in various fields of curricular activities in SDO Mandaluyong. Equipped with competent educators and state-of-art facilities, junior high school education has become more enhanced to meet the standards of the new curriculum.
